1. Information We Collect

This policy describes how Rezcasa Hospitality Group, 111 W 17th St, New York, NY 10011 ("RezCasa", "we", "us"), which operates the RezCasa platform, handles your personal information. We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and company name, when you create an account, submit a catering or private-event request, or contact us. A request also includes event details: the event date, guest count, event address, budget range, and any dietary needs you enter. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; RezCasa does not store full card numbers. If you use the concierge chat, we collect the messages you send to it. Our hosting and authentication provider also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) when you sign in or use the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To facilitate catering and event bookings between Clients and Partners
• To process card payments through Stripe and hold funds under our payment protection until the event is delivered
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, payment updates)
• To power the concierge chat and drafting features described in section 3
• To detect fraud and keep the platform secure
• To send marketing emails only if you opt in under your email preferences

3. Data Sharing & Service Providers

We share personal information only as necessary to operate the Service:

• With Partners: the details of your request, including dietary needs, are shown to every Partner that can see it. Your name, email, and phone number are masked until a menu is accepted.
• Supabase: hosting, database, and authentication
• Stripe: card payments, payment protection, and Partner payouts
• Resend: email delivery
• Lovable AI gateway (Google Gemini): powers the concierge chat and drafting features. The text you type into the chat is sent to the model; for signed-in Clients, recent request details may also be sent so the assistant can respond in context.
• Google Maps Platform: address autocomplete on the request form
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim: geocoding of event addresses
• As required by law: to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or government requests

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant via Stripe), encrypted storage of sensitive Partner fields (such as tax IDs), and role-based access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time using the process in section 7.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not run analytics beyond these essential cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)

There is no self-serve deletion or export tool yet. To exercise these rights, email hello@rezcasa.com from your account email. We complete deletion or export within 30 days, except transaction records, which are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.

8. Children's Privacy

RezCasa is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
